Support the Andy Gump Foundation
On Sunday, June 13th, the group that ventured off to Guatemala in March in support of the Andy Gump Foundation shared their stories and slide show at Knox church. Our mission project this year is to help Dave and Brenda purchase an Ultra-violet (UV) treatment system to purify the water at the school.
The special light source emits UV waves that can inactivate harmful microorganisms. Donations are still being received.
WORSHIP
Our center of worship is located in our church building on Hwy 34, in Vankleek Hill, Ontario. Our worship service is Sundays at 11 AM. with Sunday school and nursery are available during the morning service.
Our building is wheelchair accessible. Audio tapes of each service are also available upon request.
After the service, refreshments are enjoyed in the Archie Hardy Hall. We welcome your company and look forward to having you join us.
CHILDREN'S WORSHIP
Children are an important part of our community of faith. Each Sunday morning the children start worship with their parents and gather at the front of the sanctuary for a childrens story, and then they gather for worship in their own children's service planned especially with age appropriate expressions of worship and praise.
MISSION STATEMENT
To share our love for Christ as Lord and Saviour through our words and actions. We will accomplish this by preaching the Word of God, sharing the unconditional love and forgiveness of God, teaching Christian values, reaching out to everyone in the community, engaging and promoting the faith and accepting our responsibility as Christians
WELCOME
Welcome to our web site! Our congregation is alive and well and very active in the community of Vankleek Hill. Our Sunday School is strong and our choirs as well - Senior, and Handbell. We have a Bible Study group which meets weekly and Ladies Aid who meet once a month. We host the food bank and our members are involved in the thrift store (located in the town). The monies raised from the thrift store in turn buy food supplies for the food bank as well as Christmas baskets. A Moms and Tots and a "Watch me Grow" group for young mothers meet in the church and we sponsor the local Boy Scouts troop. We also hold regular services for those in the Heritage Lodge in Vankleek Hill. Focus on Youth is a Christian Community based outreach program for all youth in Vankleek Hill and area. In the summertime we hold a Vacation Bible School for the children of the community. This year we celebrated our 185th anniversary.
Annual Trash 'n Treasure Sale Saturday, June 5th in the church hall.
